Cancellation & Refund Policy
Every booking carries the cancellation policy that applied at the time it was made. That policy is shown before payment and again on the booking detail page.
Last updated: 20 August 2026
1. Policy recorded at booking
Refund entitlement is calculated from the policy stored with your booking, not from a policy introduced later. This keeps outcomes predictable even when a supplier changes its rules afterwards.
2. How to cancel
Open the booking from My bookings and use the cancellation action. The refund amount, any deduction and the resulting status are shown before you confirm.
3. Refund amounts
The refundable amount depends on the service, the supplier's rules and how close the cancellation is to departure, check-in or the activity start time. Non-refundable fares and fees are labelled as such before payment.
- Flights: airline fare rules determine refundability and any change or cancellation charge.
- Buses: operator rules apply, typically with tiered deductions closer to departure.
- Hotels: free-cancellation windows and non-refundable rates are shown per room option.
- Packages and experiences: operator terms apply and are shown on the detail page.
4. Supplier-initiated cancellations
If a supplier cancels or materially changes a service, you are notified and offered a refund or an alternative where one is available.
5. Processing
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Bank and provider processing times apply after Naksys Travel releases the refund.
6. Disputes
If a refund does not match the policy on your booking, raise it through the contact page with your booking reference. Every cancellation and refund action is recorded in an audit trail that supports the review.
